This is such a hard question, since I love ballads a lot, and practically 80% of ballads I've listened to makes me 'sad'. (´;ω;`)
Most ballads I listen to, however, are part of releases. So I have no idea which one should I choose. :/ For official releases, clear's [Nee.] (in his Dearest album), pianissimo & Ashita He (in Dearest II). Well, he's the so-called 'ballad' prince afterall. ^^ I also like nero's Starmine, Marutan's Sayounara, Jack's Rakuen, and their Ayatsuri Pierrot series (Ayatsuri especially ;-;). Y-yea, it's obvious which are the usual songs that I loop. ^^;; Most recently, Pointfive's cover of Hon no Sukoshi no Sayonara (it was played during PUPI's nama as a 'preview') made me feel.....how do you explain this feeling... :/ Like, heavy in the heart or something. 切ない・・ is all I could think of to describe it, to be honest. ;;
For upped covers/videos though,
Inakamono & Wataame's cover of Nakimushi Kareshi is probably one of the very few songs, that makes me go 'D8' while listening to it (excluding Ryo-kun's Eien Hanabi). This song is also the track that got me interested in Inakamono, and I'm always glad that I took notice of him.
